June 26 – 30, 2019 – Portland, Oregon – Breakout Session – Conversations that Count: Factoring in the Fathers
Dr. Daniel Singley and I will conduct an interactive presentation to increase awareness about best practices in the care of expectant and new fathers. We believe that fathers are often overlooked in perinatal mental health and this presentation describes the common barriers that fathers and health care providers alike experience in factoring in fathers.

2018 PSI Annual Conference

July 11-15, 2018 – Houston, Texas – Presentation of Susan A. Hickman Award
The Susan A. Hickman Memorial Research Award is given each year to an individual involved in a scholarly research project that contributes to the field of perinatal mental health. The recipient is selected by the PSI Research Committee among qualified applicants. The full award is $5000, which includes a stipend for travel to attend the annual PSI Conference.  The 2018 award will be presented at the conference on July 13, in Houston Texas.
